There is no donation box (hundi) inside temple, and darshan is available to devotees only on Sundays. Another prominence is that Sri Vidyaranya Swamiji with the support of Harihara raya and Bukka raya, through the divine grace of Lakshmi Narayan, established the VijayaNagara empire renowned for its historically unforgettable and unparalleled wealth by performing the Srinivasa Vidya Homam. Our Guruji wishes every devotee's life to be fulfilled with all riches and attain grand victory in liberation. So here, in the sanctum sanctorum, every Sunday during the Abhijit Muhurta,the Srinivasa Vidya Homam is performed in front of Sri Lakshmi Narayan. This Homam significantly improved the lives of many devotees.Every devotee who enters the Sri Guru Nilayam leads a life of prosperity and fulfillment.
